If they don't get hooked in the first hour, send it back. We'll refund every cent, and we won't ask you for an excuse.

The Intro to Circuits Kit has every core component you need for our Expansion Kit and Theme Builds. You can use the same blocks to bring the brick sets you already own to life!
Snap together your first working circuit in five minutes flat.
How it works
Every electronic component (battery, LED, motor, switch, sensor) lives inside a standard brick-compatible block. Snap blocks together and the circuit closes. Pull them apart and it opens. The bricks do the wiring, so nobody needs a breadboard, a jumper wire or a soldering iron. Nothing smokes.

Ages & difficulty
Designed for ages 8 and up, with a sweet spot for curious 8–12 year olds. Word-free assembly diagrams mean younger builders can work independently; a 24-page written Learning Guide gives older builders the deeper "why" behind every circuit. Available in English, French, and Spanish.
LEGO compatibility
Every block uses the standard 8mm stud spacing. That means SparkBlocks click onto LEGO, DUPLO (with a base plate), and most major brick brands. Pull from any brick collection you already own and the circuits just keep building.
Why no soldering
Soldering is great for production circuits. For learning, it's terrible. When a connection won't work, learners need to see why. Because every component lives inside a block, a circuit either snaps together cleanly or it doesn't, and the failure point is right there in your hands.
Kick Start Your Collection
The Intro Kit is just the beginning. Its components and lessons carry straight into everything else we make. Add the Expansion Kit or a Theme Build, and your builds get a lot bigger.
Frequently asked
What will my kids learn?
How circuits actually work. When your child connects a switch, a light block, and a battery, they're building a real working circuit. They can see why it works, not just watch it happen.
They also get a lot of practice failing. There's no one right build with SparkBlocks, so kids have to try things, watch them not work, and figure out why. That back-and-forth builds the same spatial thinking and cause-and-effect reasoning that show up later in math and engineering.
The Intro to Circuits Kit covers the basics, and the same blocks work in progressively more complex builds as kids get older. It doesn't have a ceiling.
What ages is the Intro Kit for?
Designed for ages 8 and up, with a sweet spot for curious 8–12 year olds. Word-free assembly diagrams keep younger builders independent; older builders dig into the written Learning Guide.
Does it really work with LEGO?
Yes. Every SparkBlock uses the standard 8mm stud spacing and clicks onto LEGO, DUPLO (with a base plate), and most major brick brands. Mix in whatever you already own.
What's the difference between Intro, Expansion, and Advanced?
The Intro Kit covers six core builds: LED circuits, motorised models, a siren and Morse code. The Expansion adds transistors, capacitors, and a remote control block for more complex circuits. The Advanced Set is both kits in one box, bundled to save.
Is the battery safe? How is it charged?
Yes. The Power Block is a sealed, circuit-protected USB-C rechargeable unit, the same chemistry as a phone, with overcurrent and short-circuit protection built in. It charges with any USB-C cable.
Do I need an app, computer, or Wi-Fi?
No. SparkBlocks are deliberately screen-free. Everything you need to build all 12 experiments is in the printed Assembly Instructions and Learning Guide.
Are translated learning guides available?
Yes. English ships in the box, and French, Spanish and other Learning Guides are free downloads. Translated Assembly Instructions are available on request too.
