    Taking Legos to the next level

    We got the adavanced set of sparksblocks for Christmas. My son has enjoyed adding lights and sounds to his Lego builds. It has been fun to see him learn about circuits while adding fun features to his Lego creations.

    Cool, but Flawed

    We got our SparkBlocks recently and were very excited. The first thing we built went great and was awesome, helicopter. We then built two additional items, following the instructions, and they didn't want to stay together. The second item we built had the motor at the top and would just fall off repeatedly, it was very frustrating. The third item we built was the Mary Go Round, and the electrical block connection between the two bits didn't want stay together. I had to hold it together with my hands. The connections between the blocks is just not great, especially the electrical blocks. Still a cool product, we will still continue to build with them.

    Bill, I appreciate the detailed feedback, and glad the first build was a hit. For the builds with the Intro Kit high speed motor, a small change to how it’s supported makes a big difference. We’ve shared an updated version on our notes page ( https://sparkblocks.ca/info ), or feel free to email us and we can help. We’re also updating the motor's mold in future production to improve this.
