Family Bundle

As both an elementary teacher and a parent of 2, I was so excited to back these on Kickstarter and then get our family bundle. The block quality is high and indistinguishable from the name brand blocks they work with. My son (10) and I have worked through all of the intro kit builds and are working on the expansion kit builds. While there are a few inconsistencies between the directions and the blocks (colors, labels, etc), it hasn't been anything more than expected on a company's first release and they have been updating information on their website. The blocks themselves are great. I like having the extra pieces that the bundle gives, particularly having 3 sources of power. The customer service for the company is great--whether it was questions during the Kickstarter fulfillment process or after receiving the product.

The SparkBlocks kits are thoughtfully designed and very engaging. The building experience is smooth, the instructions are clear, and the models are well-balanced and stable.

They do an excellent job of encouraging logical thinking, creativity, and hands-on learning. Overall, the kits are high quality, educational, and enjoyable for students to build and explore.

Finishing off where the title has left us; This may not be enough for you. It works very well for what it is and the price. There does seem to be some coloring differences from the booklets at times, but not a functionality difference. Well, not too big of any, mostly. No photos or videos of these by themselves as they will be pictured in the actual kits built.
