What will my kids learn?

How circuits actually work. When your child connects a switch, a light block, and a battery, they're building a real working circuit. They can see why it works, not just watch it happen.

They also get a lot of practice failing. There's no one right build with SparkBlocks, so kids have to try things, watch them not work, and figure out why.

What ages is it for?

Designed for ages 8 and up, with a sweet spot for curious 8–12 year olds. Word-free assembly diagrams keep younger builders independent; older builders dig into the written Learning Guide.

Is the battery safe? How is it charged?

Yes. The Power Block is a sealed, circuit-protected USB-C rechargeable unit. It uses the same chemistry as a phone, with overcurrent and short-circuit protection built in. Charges with any USB-C cable.

Can my child break anything by connecting blocks incorrectly?

No. Every block is polarity-protected and current-limited, so a wrong connection simply doesn't light up. Nothing overheats and nothing gets damaged.

Do I need an app, computer, or Wi-Fi?

No. SparkBlocks are deliberately screen-free. Everything you need to build all 12 experiments is in the printed Assembly Instructions and Learning Guide.

Are translated learning guides available?

Yes. English ships in the box, and French, Spanish and other Learning Guides are free downloads.
