Nice design and easy to build.
Tuned it, now it's driven by dual motors ;-)
I love the endless possibilities of spark blocks.
The car is approximately 16x10x8cm.
Was this helpful?SparkBlocks6 hours agoVery cool custom tuning work, thanks for sharing the photo too! Dual motors definitely make that Patrol Car feel extra fun. 🚓⚡ (I find myself wondering how you made both go the same direction! Do you mind posting that in our community? https://www.facebook.com/groups/sparkblocksvips )

My granddaughter of 8 is enjoying these spark locks. She plays with them enthusiastically with some help from my son.
Was this helpful?SparkBlocks1 week agoSo glad to hear this Bohm! Thanks for sharing and love that speedy car with it's flashing light! (And possibly best part is when different generations get to play/learn/work together!) 💪

So much fun putting it together and even better when it was done!
Was this helpful?SparkBlocks2 weeks agoThat’s a clean build 👌 The Patrol Car is a fun one to tweak once it’s up and running too. If you end up modifying it, would love to see what you add.

Build is straight forward. Work and look like a police car. Couple things could be better. I can't have it drive and light up. I feel like I need an extra switch block.
Was this helpful?SparkBlocks1 month agoTam, I really appreciate this (and the photos, great build 👌). You’re right: the siren is on a pushbutton rather than always-on, partly to keep things from getting… loud for parents 😄. And now you're a builder: if you want drive + lights at the same time, tweaking the circuit is the way to go. That’s where it gets fun ⚡

The one we built looks almost like the model, not sure why we don't have the roof on ours, but it functions the way its supposed to, I think. Mostly. We could not get the 2 way LED to function properly to switch back and forth from red to blue, probably an easy and simple fix, but it should have worked to build it according to instructions. This is why it was given 4 stars. I've included pictures and videos of it working. We live in our house, so its not show ready and there's music playing.
Was this helpful?SparkBlocks3 months agoThanks so much for the review, Phillip, and for sharing photos and video! Quick note on the LED: it’s a bi-directional LED, so flipping the block 180° switches it from red to blue (it’s not automatic or flashing). Totally fair feedback on the instructions, though, thank you.
Appreciate you building with us and taking the time to share your experience! ⚡️
