    Solid product

    Build is straight forward. Work and look like a police car. Couple things could be better. I can't have it drive and light up. I feel like I need an extra switch block.

    Tam, I really appreciate this (and the photos, great build 👌). You’re right: the siren is on a pushbutton rather than always-on, partly to keep things from getting… loud for parents 😄. And now you're a builder: if you want drive + lights at the same time, tweaking the circuit is the way to go. That’s where it gets fun ⚡

    Patrol Car Review

    The one we built looks almost like the model, not sure why we don't have the roof on ours, but it functions the way its supposed to, I think. Mostly. We could not get the 2 way LED to function properly to switch back and forth from red to blue, probably an easy and simple fix, but it should have worked to build it according to instructions. This is why it was given 4 stars. I've included pictures and videos of it working. We live in our house, so its not show ready and there's music playing.

    Thanks so much for the review, Phillip, and for sharing photos and video! Quick note on the LED: it’s a bi-directional LED, so flipping the block 180° switches it from red to blue (it’s not automatic or flashing). Totally fair feedback on the instructions, though, thank you.

    Awesome build

    I had an absolute blast building this set! Every step of the build felt purposeful, and seeing the circuits come to life at the end was incredibly satisfying. It’s the perfect blend of hands on fun and STEM learning. It’s engaging, intuitive, and genuinely impressive.
