Start with an email, not with a parcel. Please do not post a kit back on your own initiative, because the right return address depends on your order and it is not printed on the box.
1. Email us
Send a note to Info@SparkBlocks.ca within 60 days of the day your kit was delivered. Include:
- Your order number, which looks like SB-INV-1234
- What you want to return
- Why, in a line. You do not owe us an explanation, but it helps us spot the cases where we should be waiving the fee
2. We send you a prepaid label
We confirm the return qualifies and email you a prepaid shipping label. You do not pay anything at the post office counter. The cost of that label comes out of your refund instead, along with the 10% restocking fee. Our return policy, in plain words shows the full arithmetic.
If the return is happening because we made a mistake, this is the point where we tell you so and waive the fee.
3. Send it back sealed
A change-of-mind return has to be unopened and resellable, so the kit goes back exactly as it arrived, still sealed in its original box.
- If the outer shipping carton is damaged but the kit inside is sealed and undamaged, that is fine. Pack it in any sturdy carton so nothing moves around.
Do not open the kit to check the contents before you send it. Opening it is the one thing that disqualifies a change-of-mind return.
4. Drop it off
Attach the label, hand the parcel in wherever the label tells you to, and keep the drop-off receipt until your refund has landed.
5. We check it and refund you
Once the kit reaches us and we have confirmed it is complete, we refund the original payment method, less the deductions set out in Our return policy, in plain words. How long a refund takes covers the timing.
Why the email step really matters
We ship from more than one warehouse, so the correct return address changes from order to order. A kit posted to the wrong one can cost more to recover than the refund is worth, and it holds your money up while we chase it. One email avoids the whole problem.
Returning from outside Canada or the United States
Return carriage on an international parcel can get close to the value of the kit, and there is customs paperwork on the way back as well. Email us before you send anything and we will tell you what it would actually cost you before you commit. If you are in the EU or the UK, see If you ordered from the EU or the UK.
