Consumer law where you live gives you a little more than our standard published policy does. We apply it without you having to ask for it. Here is what is different for you.
Opening the kit does not disqualify you
Our standard policy only takes a change-of-mind return if the kit is still sealed. That rule does not apply to you. You are entitled to handle and inspect a kit the way you could in a shop and still change your mind, so long as you tell us within 14 days of delivery.
Handle it as you would in a shop is the test. If a kit comes back with real wear on it, we may reduce the refund to reflect that, but simply having opened the box is not a reason for us to refuse you.
There is no restocking fee
If you change your mind and send a kit back, the 10% restocking fee in our return policy does not apply to you. You get the full price of the kit back.
We refund the delivery charge as well
If you cancel and return an order, we also refund what you paid to have it delivered to you. That comes back on top of the price of the kit.
Return shipping still comes out
We send you a prepaid return label so you are not out of pocket at the counter, and the cost of that label is deducted from the refund. That part works the same everywhere.
You still get the full 60 days
Our published return window in the refund policy is 60 days from delivery. That is longer than the minimum you are entitled to, so 60 days is the number to work to.
Longer cover if something stops working
Our published warranty is one year on the consumer kits and two years on the Smart Classroom Kit. For you that is a floor, not a ceiling.
- In the EU, you have at least two years from delivery to come back to us about a kit that was faulty.
- In the UK, you also have longer than a year, and for the first six months after delivery it is on us to show the kit was fine when it arrived, not on you to prove it was not.
So if a block has failed and you have talked yourself out of contacting us because the year is up, please contact us anyway.

How to use any of this
Email Info@SparkBlocks.ca, give us your order number, tell us what has happened and mention which country you are in. You do not need to quote any law at us and you do not need to argue the point. We will apply whichever version is better for you.
